A magnetic grate separator, also known as a grate magnet, magnetic grid, or hopper magnet, is attached to hoppers, chutes, drawers, and bins. This magnetic product is designed to remove unwanted ferrous particles from free-flowing materials such as dry goods, liquids, and slurries.

Common configurations are round, square and rectangular, but Magnetic Hold can make them to your specification. They are available with round or angular diverters for maximum magnetic field exposure.

Features	1. Standard round bar has a length of 25 mm(1 inch) diameter. As required, it can reach the maximum length of 2500mm. Magnetic
	tube or other different shape and dimension are also available.

Construction of Magnetic Grates

Magnetic Grates consist of magnetic rods and 300 series stainless steel (304 or 316) frame and diverters. The frame and diverters are welded or screwed into a complete unit and polished to a smooth finish.

Easy cleaning magnetic grid and easy cleaning magnetic grate: stainless steel sleeve is used on the outside of the magnetic bar. In normal operation, materials pass through the sleeve, and ferromagnetic particles are absorbed to the sleeve by the magnetic force of the magnetic bar. When cleaning, the magnetic bar is drawn out, and the particles on the casing fall automatically because of no magnetic attraction, saving the time of wiping.
